Combination Summer Hat Vamp Up

Okay, so although I can create new things and often do I sure enjoy a good free crochet pattern. And there are some beautiful patterns our there by some wonderfully gifted people. I don't know if its just me having problems not getting gauges right or what, but I always have to make some adjustments. Today I wanted to make a lovely hat called the Combination Summer Hat found at http://thestrangeknitter.blogspot.com/2010/05/combination-summer-hat.html , but it was just to short. Im just going to post my pictures of what I made and wrote the pattern how I did it. The first half of this hat is exactly how it is originally written and I just added the last half myself. I also use all crochet stitches when the original had knit in it as well. Thanks for checking it out.

I"m not that great at writing things out yet, so if you have any questions then just ask. Here are some more pictures of this hat that I have done since I started typing this blog a few days ago. I sure wish I could get my million other things up that I have done. Thanks for reading, and remember that credit for this hat doesn't go to myself. I just took an awesome pattern already and am sharing my helpful tips that I learned about it when I made my own.
